At midnight on May 9, Lenta.ru, one of Russia's most famous propaganda sites, published an article entitled "War Makes It Easier to Cover Up Economic Failure". Putin must leave. He has started a senseless war and is leading Russia into the abyss

"Russian President Vladimir Putin bears full responsibility for the senseless and bloody war against Ukraine. Guided by far-fetched excuses about threats to Russia, the head of state has plunged two neighbouring nations into a war in which there will be no winners - only losers. The president's decision will be followed by isolation, poverty and throwing the country back into the 90s, which Putin likes to scare Russians with. In his more than 20 years in power, the head of state has become a dictator who believes in conspiracy theories and has lost touch with reality. Right now Putin is depriving millions of Russians of their future and taking the lives of innocent Ukrainians. Vladimir Putin must stop the war immediately and resign," the text reads.
