On the afternoon of May 31, an emergency occurred in the Shklou District Department of Internal Affairs. According to local residents, a man set fire to the building's office during interrogation, the district department officer received severe burns and was hospitalised.

According to him, the policeman received burns on 90% of his body and was taken to the district hospital. Shklou Central District Hospital staff confirmed that the police officer born in 1995 was admitted there with 90% burns on his body.

“He is in intensive care, and the one who set the fire seems to have died,” the hospital said.

Another source also spoke about the fact that the man who set the fire died. According to the source, the man took gasoline into the building. This is the only information about him at the moment.
