Armed Forces Of Ukraine Inflict Counterattacks, Liberating Settlements Near Izyum

The Russian soldiers are demoralized.

Despite the large concentration of Russian troops in the Izyum direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine carry out counterattacks, continuing to liberate nearby settlements from enemy forces.

This was announced on Wednesday, June 15, on the air of Espreso by the deputy of the local City Council Maksym Strelnik.

“Fierce battles continue in the Izyum direction. The Russian occupiers are also trying to move towards the city of Slavyansk, Barvinkove in order to cordon off our troops in the zone of the Joint Forces Operation. However, the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the forces of the territorial defense hold the line and launch counterattacks on the enemy’s flanks,” he commented on the current situation.

According to Strelnik, recently the Ukrainian military managed to liberate the villages of Spivakivka and Zavody, which are located on both banks of the Seversky Donets.

“We hope that our military will be able to gain a foothold on these lines, and they will be able to continue their counteroffensive, the result of which will be the liberation of Izyum,” the deputy added, noting that, although the enemy forces have a numerical superiority, the Russian soldiers are demoralized.
