Jackpot: Lviv Paratroopers Blew Up Nine Vehicles And One Ammunition Depot In One Day

Ukrainian artillerymen and anti-tank units distinguished themselves.

Lviv paratroopers set another record for the destruction of occupiers in a day. On June 13, Soldiers of the 80th Air Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces blew up 9 enemy vehicles and an ammunition depot. Artillerymen and anti-tank units worked out.

The Command of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces reported the combat achievements of the Lviv paratroopers.

"As the media have already reported, in May 2022, when the Russian occupiers tried to build a pontoon crossing across the Siverskyi Donets River, artillery units of the 80th Air Assault Brigade of the Airborne Forces of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces set a kind of record: within two days they destroyed 73 enemy vehicles (tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, BMD, MT-LB, BTR). And on June 13, 2022, the artillery paratroopers, let's say, hit another, “cannon jackpot,” the Air Assault Forces Command said.

During the aforementioned day, the artillerymen of the brigade blew up: two MLRS 9K57 Uragan calibre 220 millimetres, a combat transport-charging vehicle for the Uragan, an armoured personnel carrier, a Tigr armoured car, two trucks and an ammunition depot. Judging by the explosive force, this one contained missiles for the Uragans.

On the same day, the anti-tank units of the 80th brigade successfully worked on the invaders from the Stugna-P ATGM. The fighters blew up an infantry fighting vehicle and an enemy tank.

Earlier this week, the 81st Airmobile Brigade inflicted a massive strike on the ruscists. They "covered" the Uragans battery with artillery fire along with the supply vehicles.
