Massive Missile Attack Launched At Ukraine From Territory Of Belarus

Explosions sounded in four regions.

Early in the morning on Saturday, June 25, the Russian invaders launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine. Explosions sounded after an air raid in four regions — Kyiv, Chernihiv, Zhytomyr and Mykolaiv. Some missiles were fired at Ukraine from the territory of Belarus, Glavred reports.

According to the Telegram channel of the monitoring group Bielaruski Hayun, Russian bombers flew up to the Belarusian-Ukrainian border and fired at least two dozen missiles on the Ukrainian territory. The first launch was from the air, at approximately 3:45 am.

“Probably, the bombers took off from the territory of the Russian Federation, so we had no information about the take-offs from Belarus (Baranavichy, Luninets, Lida, Machulishchy). Earlier, they used the following scheme: aircraft take off from the airfields of the Russian Federation, enter the airspace of Belarus, fly up close to the border with Ukraine, launch missiles while the plane is over Belarus (so that it is not shot down), and turn around. And then return back to the Russian Federation,” the message says.

Observers suggest that the Russian planes were at high altitude, so the missile launches became known only by a specific trail, accompanied by a sound similar to an explosion.

“ As for how many launches were there from the territory of Belarus (from the air and, possibly, from the ground) — we will wait for official information from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, collected by technical means, to say this,” the report said.

After the first missile launch, Russian aircraft struck again around 5:40 am. At least 4 missiles were launched.

A missile attack on the Kyiv region

Early in the morning of June 25, at least eight explosions thundered in the northern part of the Kyiv region.

Some missiles were successfully eliminated by the air defense.

According to the Telegram channel Bielaruski Hayun, several missiles were launched from the territory of Belarus.

“Probably, at least 2 or 3 missiles were launched from the air. Reports came from the areas of Svetlahorsk (Azarychy), Mazyr, Petrykau, and Naroulia of the Homel region,” the message says.

So far, there has been no official information regarding the explosions in the Kyiv region.

A missile attack on the Chernihiv region

In the morning on Saturday, June 25, the Russian invaders launched a missile attack on the village of Desna, Chernihiv region. This was announced on Telegram by head of the Chernihiv regional military administration Vyacheslav Chaus.

“The village of Desna was subjected to another rocket attack. The details will follow,” the message says.

The head of the region asked local residents not to publish photos and videos of the rocket hits.

A missile attack on Zhytomyr region

After 04:20 am, a series of explosions sounded in the Zhytomyr region. According to local residents, explosions also took place in the city of Zhytomyr. Subsequently, similar sounds were reported at 05:00 am, they were repeated after 45 minutes.

“Several more sounds of explosions were heard ... And again explosions. We remind you that there was no end to the air raid alert, so for the sake of safety you need to stay in shelters,” Suspіlne Zhytomyr wrote on Telegram.

Explosions in the Mykolaiv region

A few hours later, explosions were already heard in the Mykolaiv region, in particular, in the regional center. The mayor of Mykolaiv Oleksandr Senkevich noted that this happened after the announcement of the air raid alert.

“There are explosions in the city. Everyone take cover!” called the official.
