British Intelligence: Ukraine Successfully Counterattacks In Kherson Region

Russia is attacking in Donbass.

Ukraine is successfully counterattacking the Russians in Kherson region, the Ukrainian defence in Severodonetsk is holding on.

The UK Ministry of Defence said this in a review.

"Russia continues its attempt to attack the Severodonetsk cauldron from three directions, although the Ukrainian defence is holding on. It is unlikely that either side has gained significant advances in the last 24 hours," it said.

While Russia is concentrating its offensive in the central sector of the Donbass, it is defending on the other flanks.

Ukrainian forces recently achieved some successes in a counterattack in the southwest part of Kherson region, regaining control of the eastern bank of the Ingulets River.
