There is no work.
Belarusian motor carriers put up trucks and hitches for sale. On sites with ads, you can even find relatively new cars, with debts to banks and leasing companies. The Otrazhenie blog asked if the sale of trucks and hitches was connected with the imposed EU sanctions and counter-sanctions of Minsk. As it turned out that it was connected in some cases. “There is no work, they are not allowed to enter Europe,” one of the companies explained to the blog journalist who presented himself as a buyer.

There are about a hundred trucks for sale since the beginning of March this year on the av.by website, about ten of the trucks are “heads” no older than one or two years.

A 2021 Mercedes-Benz Actros 1851 with a semi-trailer is on sale in Vitebsk for 395,000 rubles or 151,719 dollars, the seller is ready for a “reasonable price negotiation”. The vehicle has a "childish" amount of kilometres driven - 68,653 km.
“The vehicle is on a cruise now, when it arrives, it will be possible to see it. It's new, it's fine. We just decided to sell a new vehicle in order to remove the credit burden, we have 148 thousand on a loan. Because it’s hard to work, and there are a lot of trucks, we can’t cope,” they said by the phone number indicated in the advertisement.

MAN TGX 18 440, produced in 2021, is on sale in Mahiliou. The truck has covered 170,000 km.
“There are no opportunities for work, this is the reason for the sale. There's no problem with the vehicle. We bought it in March last year, in early April it went on the line. It travelled to Russia. The truck is leased, but the bank said it would allow it to sell it,” the seller said.

DAF XF 106 530 the production year 2021 is in Kobryn on sale. As it turned out, the company, in addition to this, put up for sale two more tractors of the same production year. All of the trucks were bought on credit, and the sellers did not yet pay them off.
“We are selling because they are not allowed to enter Europe,” another carrier explained.
Recall that the European Union has banned road freight transport for Belarusian and Russian companies since April 9, including transit. The restrictions were adopted "in connection with the situation in Belarus and the involvement of Belarus in Russian aggression against Ukraine".
On April 15, Belarus introduced a ban on the movement of vehicles (cars and trucks) registered in the European Union across the customs border of the Eurasian Economic Union. Now trucks with European registration numbers cross our border to transfer the semi-trailer for Belarusian trucks in special places or reload the trucks.
