Over the past day, Polish border guards recorded 36 attempts of illegal entry from Belarus, the Polish Border Service reports. Migrants are trying to get to Poland by laying stairs through the floodplains.

Among those who tried to enter Poland were citizens of Indonesia and Benin. All of them are detained. It is reported that the incidents took place in the area of the settlements of Bialowieza, Dubicze Cerkiewne, Bobrowniki, Janow-Podlaski.

Important to note, on June 30, Poland announced the completion of the construction of a 180-kilometer fence on the border with Belarus, but attempts to illegally enter the country continue.
