Belarus Expands Flight Restriction Zone: No Flying Even Over Minsk

The authorities of Belarus have increased the flight restriction zone over the country. In particular, it is now forbidden to fly even over Minsk.

It is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Belarusian Hayun.

In Belarus, starting from Monday, July 11, an additional flight restriction zone has been introduced, which applies to Minsk, Brest, the southern half of the Minsk region and partially the Mahiliou and Homel regions.

However, this restriction will last until July 14. It does not apply to the aviation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus, and aircraft that operate flights to the Minsk National Airport, as well as the airports of Homel and Brest.
