Children's Clothing Of Well-Known Brand Banned In Belarus

It was considered hazardous.

The “black list” of the State Standard included several types of children's clothes sold in the Kari chain of stores, writes intex-press.by.

The register of hazardous products was replenished with three types of jumpers, a beach dress and eco-leather trousers for girls of kindergarten age, a windbreaker and jumper for boys of preschool and school age, as well as overalls for babies up to a year old.

All these clothes were sold in the Kari chain of stores.

The bulk of the items were rejected in terms of “hygroscopicity”: it turned out that clothes' capability of absorbing and releasing moisture is many times lower than expected.

Children's trousers did not pass the test, because the fabric from which they are sewn practically “does not breathe”, and overalls for babies turned out to be not natural and environmentally friendly enough.

From July 25, it is officially forbidden to import these goods into Belarus and sell them in our country.
