An important transport artery of the occupants in Kherson has been eliminated.
One can hear explosions in temporarily occupied Kherson. Fire activity is observed near the Antonovsky bridge, where the Russian military had been stockpiling military equipment and ammunition for several days.
Locals claim the Antonovsky bridge "caught" several missiles and ceased to exist as a transport artery.
The website obozrevatel.com collected all the information known at the moment.
"First, there was the sound of incoming missiles. Then the cannons hit near the bridge. It looked like the air defence of the orcs. Then this missile hit. It sounded like it landed. The orcs' equipment, which they drive to Oleshki and deploy there to retain the left bank, could have been the target," reports a local Telegram channel.
Military journalist Andrei Tsaplienko, citing Kherson residents, writes that "the Antonovsky bridge, as a crossing from the left bank to the right bank, exists no more. It happened around 10:45 p.m."
For its part, pro-Kremlin media have already rushed to deny information about the destruction of the Antonovsky bridge, stating that a Russian air defence system worked.
However, residents expressed their disagreement with such an interpretation.
One could hear explosions near the Antonovsky bridge in temporarily occupied Kherson.
Later, a video of rockets hitting the Antonovsky bridge appeared on the network. The video clearly shows rockets hitting the same place on the bridge. One can count at least six strikes.
We recall that on July 19, Russian propagandists claimed that the Ukrainian Armed Forces shelled temporarily occupied Kherson. The attacks hit the strategic Antonovsky bridge.
On July 20, smoke was again visible in the area of the strategic Antonovsky bridge over the Dnipro River in temporarily occupied Kherson. Locals report another strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine against the occupants.
After the second "series" of strikes on the Antonovsky bridge, collaborators from the occupation administration stated that it had been significantly damaged. They stated that the bridge was "actually destroyed" and that if the strikes continued, it could crumble.
