The occupiers have prepared a war crime in advance.
Russians had dug graves on the territory to bury Ukrainian prisoners of war at least a week before the explosion in the Olenivka colony.
The founder of the Bellingcat investigative project Eliot Higgins stated this, posting a relevant satellite video on Twitter, reports censor.net.
"Lower resolution imagery on Planet indicates that the ground disturbance (seen at the bottom of this video) occurred after July 18 and before July 21 at Olenivka prison," Higgins wrote.

@Maxar image from the Olenivka Prison where 50 PoWs were killed seems shows possible graves dug near the north wall.

The possible graves appear to be open and recently dug on the 27th (2 days prior to the explosion) and covered on the 30th (1 day after). https://t.co/XAnG4HnDzh pic.twitter.com/sLvzae0RMQ
OSINT researcher Alexander Oliver had earlier published satellite images from the Olenivka colony, noting that the image from the 27th (two days before the explosion) shows graves near the northern wall of the colony still empty, and that they were covered over on July 29, the day of the explosion.
"If these are graves, it is further proof that this was a pre-planned Russian war crime that was apparently prepared several days in advance. Of course, there may be graves in POW camps that are not indicative of a large-scale war crime. But the number of possible graves that appear fresh in these pictures and the scale of war crimes suggest that this is no coincidence," Oliver wrote.
