Hit 10 Times: HIMARS-Show For Occupiers In Nova Kakhovka

Loud explosions were heard in the vicinity of the Kakhovka hydropower plant.

Explosions were heard in the temporarily occupied town of Nova Kakhovka in Kherson region in the evening of Thursday, August 18. Loud sounds were heard in the vicinity of the Kakhovka hydropower plant at around 21:00.

This was reported by local residents on social networks. According to a local Telegram channel, about 10 explosions were heard.

People wrote on Kherson public pages that there were "arrivals" at the Kakhovka hydropower plant. It is reported that traffic on the dam has been closed and the roadway has been damaged.

It is heard in one of the recordings that an air-raid siren has even been activated in the town. The Telegram channel of "Armed Forces of Ukraine. War with Occupiers" wrote that there were about 10 explosions from the side of the hydropower plant.

"Nova Kakhovka. There were more than ten explosions from the side of the hydropower plant," the authors noted.

The day before, it became known that the occupiers had repaired the bridge on the dam of the Kakhovka hydropower plant, previously damaged by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It was the last bridge connecting the left and right banks of Kherson Region. After strikes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, it was impossible to use it.

The first footage of the bridge near the Kakhovka hydropower plant after the strike was shown online. They show how accurately and precisely the Ukrainian soldiers hit the crossing.

It should be noted that during the night of Thursday, August 18, reports of explosions in temporarily occupied Nova Kakhovka appeared online as well. They were heard again in the vicinity of the local hydropower plant.
