Even Russian Military Leak Information: How Ukraine Manages To Break Through Air Defense In Crimea

Aviation and UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine easily hit enemy targets on the peninsula.

The Russian army has always relied on air defense, which was considered invincible and reliable. But in fact, it turned out that aviation and UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine easily pass and penetrate the air defense systems of the RF Armed Forces.

Military expert Serhiy Kuzan spoke about this on the air of Apostrophe TV.

The Russians still do not admit that the Armed Forces of Ukraine pierced and struck their pride — the “reliable” air defense system in the Crimea, and therefore they are now looking for the culprit, considering options for terrorist attacks and sabotage. The military shifts responsibility to the FSB, which does not fight sabotage, however, they cannot admit that it is the Armed Forces of Ukraine that strike at the “fortress with the most protected airspace”, which they considered the Crimea to be, they just can’t admit it, the expert noted.

According to him, this is the collapse of the military and political image. “This image was built on the fact that Russia has a bunch of missiles with which they will dominate the airspace. And today, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have destroyed the myth of the invincibility of the Russian air defense and their S300 and S400,” Serhiy Kuzan said.

“The Ukrainian Armed Forces are also helped by Russians, people from the “outback”, who willingly take pictures in the Crimea near the air defense systems. They do not understand what they are actually doing, they are proud of the photo near the “pride of Russia”, and the Armed Forces of Ukraine are willing to use it,” the military expert said ironically.

But, according to him, useful information is also received from local residents of the occupied territories, who provide data on the movement and deployment of Russian air defense in different regions. There are many cases when Russian soldiers, who understand the senselessness of war and who want to cooperate with Ukrainian intelligence, provide such data to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Serhiy Kuzan noted.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine received missiles from the United States that hit Russian radars, but the course of the war is decided not by individual ammunition, but by the integrated use and ability to build an integrated approach. “The Russians still have an advantage in aviation and technology, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine have an advantage in the quality and effective use of Western weapons,” the expert emphasized, adding that during August, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are gradually reaching, if not an advantage, then parity.

“And if this situation continues, then the Armed Forces of Ukraine will level out in terms of forces and means of destruction, and after that it will be possible to talk about the prerequisites for a turning point at the front,” Serhiy Kuzan suggested, stressing that the issue here is in the weapons provided by Ukraine’s Western partners.
