Only One Region Of Belarus Allow To Visit Forest Now

Hot and dry weather that has come to Belarus can lead to forest fires. Due to the high fire danger, the State Forest Service was transferred to the strengthened mode of service, and the Ministry of Forestry introduced additional bans and restrictions on visiting forests - now they are allowed to visit only one area.

Visiting forests is prohibited In 115 districts of Belarus, visiting forests is limited in 2, the Zhitkavichy and Lelchytsy districts.

The forests of the only Braslau district are still allowed to visit.

The ban means that citizens are prohibited from being in forests, and the restriction also applies to the entry of vehicles, with the exception of official vehicles. The restriction means that it is allowed to go into the forest to pick berries and mushrooms, but it is strictly forbidden to make fires and barbecues. In addition, you can not drive on forest roads by private cars, except when you are heading to your property or to a place of rest.

Violators of the rules for visiting the forest enter administrative responsibility. In this case, a fine of up to 12 base values is provided (384 rubles at the present time - Ed.).
