People on the peninsula are seriously talking about the imminent return of Ukraine.
With each new explosion, more and more Russians - mainly members of the families of Russian army servicemen - flee the Crimean peninsula. And in recent days, information about the "imminent return of Ukraine" has been spreading over the grapevine radio, which has caused a new round of panic. The occupiers' wives have already started selling their homes on the South Coast, writes OBOZREVATEL.
Families of Occupiers 'Given Time'
Ukraine's tough stance on returning occupied Crimea, as well as the reaction of the international community, makes Russians nervous day after day. And there is a horde of them here. The peninsula has become "their own" for about 800 thousand citizens of the Russian Federation - all of them illegally stay on the territory of Crimea. These figures were announced during the briefing by the Ukrainian presidential representative in Crimea Tamila Tasheva.

For several years, Russia has been literally pumping Crimea with weapons and actually turned it into a huge military base. Accordingly, there is a large contingent of military personnel there. Over time, their families have also moved in with the invaders, lured by the beautiful nature, climate and promises of the command.
According to OBOZREVATEL's interlocutors on the peninsula, there are indeed many Russian military families. "Arrogant, they behave in a brazen manner, they give the cold shoulder to the native Crimeans. For us, those waiting for Ukraine, it's very hard morally. It is hard to breathe the same air with them," said Alushta resident Elena.

Yalta, Foros, Alushta and Gurzuf are mainly inhabited by families of Russian officers, even though the soldiers themselves serve in Simferopol. An employee of a real estate agency says that some of the flats were bought by them, but others were simply taken by force: "My colleagues and I know of cases when people were simply forced to re-register their apartments. Some unknown people from Magadan or Khabarovsk appeared in the documents, but then the flats were taken over by the occupants' families".
Some of them have already put the "loot" up for sale in the past week. However, they are keeping the lights off on the Internet: they are looking for clients and trying to wrap up the deal quietly.
"The last few days have broken all records: there have not been so many offers for a long time. And prices have dropped by 25%, but I think this is not the bottom yet: soon the cost of flats in the Crimea will fall even more. The most interesting thing is that they were the wives of Russian military personnel who spread the news "in deep secrecy" that it was time to leave. They are very scared of Ukraine's imminent return - they are talking about a 'hot autumn'," the Crimean woman said.
In her opinion, this indicates the seriousness of the situation: "If Russians were just scared of explosions in Crimea, they would simply go to the Russian Federation to wait out the situation, but they are already selling their homes".
According to another OBOZREVATEL interlocutor on the occupied peninsula, there have also been many offers to sell furniture as well as cars.
"Russians are urgently selling off everything. They are offering a lot of household goods, furniture, cars. However, it is unlikely that they will be able to find buyers quickly: they are asking an exorbitant price out of greed," the man said.
Sooner Liberation
The spectacular destruction of military facilities belonging to Russian occupants in Crimea is growing. Moreover, no one understands what kind of "cigarette ends" have been activated.

The Russians are also panicking at the mere thought of strikes on the Crimean (Kerch) bridge, which can be used to travel to the Russian Federation fairly quickly. However, this bridge, according to OBOZREVATEL's interlocutors in the AFU, is not the first priority. "There are enough other important targets," the officer is convinced.
In his opinion, the occupied peninsula will definitely come back under Ukrainian control: "If six months ago someone had doubts, now there are none".
Meanwhile, Ukrainians have already started booking hotel rooms in Crimea for the autumn of 2022. And this has once again caused panic among collaborators and Russians themselves.
"There is a new flashmob in temporarily occupied Crimea: local realtors are whining on social media that Ukrainians are booking accommodation and apartments in mass in occupied Crimea for 14.10.2022. Why? To celebrate Defender's Day of Ukraine and DEOCUPATION of the peninsula," wrote Taras Dzyuba from Kyiv on his Facebook page and posted supporting screenshots.

They show how in the course of exchanging correspondence with her Crimean realtor, a Ukrainian woman, Valeria, recommended to think about the possibility of paying in hryvnias and said that she was planning to celebrate the Day of Liberation of Crimea from the Russian invaders on the peninsula.

And this is not just a unique situation - there have been quite a few such bookings in recent days and this has caused a real hysteria among Russians. The Ukrainian underground has also activated: the patriots organized a real flash mob on the Independence Day on August 24.

No one doubts Ukraine will return to Crimea, the main question is when. However, it will happen - no diggity.
