Ukrainian Pilot Delivers Strikes Invaders With American AGM-88 HARM Missiles For The First Time

The AFU Air Force for the first time showed a video of American AGM-88 HARM missiles. They were installed on upgraded MiG-29 fighters.

He dedicated it to his fallen brother in arms Yevhen Lysenko, who heroically died in an aerial fight against the invaders on March 9.

The AGM-88 HARM is an American high-speed antiaircraft missile with the range of more than 100 km, and up to 300 km depending on modifications and conditions of application.

It belongs to the air-to-ground class and is designed to destroy enemy radars, which, in particular, are on air defense systems.

The HARM was developed in the 1980s and is capable of targeting high-frequency radars. At the same time, the missile does not lose its target if the radar is disabled (like some other models) and is able to calculate its location and destroy it.

In flight, the AGM-88 HARM reaches a maximum speed of 2,280 kilometers per hour, which is 1.8 times the speed of sound.
