Moscow Deputies, Following Their St. Petersburg Colleagues, Demanded Putin’s Resignation

The text of the appeal was approved by the municipal council of the Lomonosovsky district of Moscow.

Moscow deputies “picked up a flash mob” of their colleagues from St. Petersburg, and reproached Vladimir Putin for the fact that “people are beginning to hate Russia again.” Moreover, they started talking about a change of power.

The initiative for Putin's resignation was made by the deputies of the municipal council of the Lomonosovsky district of Moscow. Their appeal was published by Russian media, informs Channel 24.

The meeting took place on September 8. The appeal to Putin was supported by five deputies, two abstained.

The document says that it is time to make room for “people with new strengths and ideas”. The deputies appealed to the results of studies that showed that in countries where power changes regularly, people live longer and better.

The deputies were upset that the rhetoric of Putin and his subordinates is riddled with aggression. Russia again threatens the world with nuclear weapons.

“In connection with the foregoing, we ask you to dismiss yourself from your post, because your views, your management model are hopelessly outdated and hinder the development of Russia and its human potential,” the message says.

The “flashmob” was launched by deputies from St. Petersburg

Deputies from St. Petersburg said that Putin should be removed from power. They justify it with “high treason”. The deputies said that the so-called “special military operation” harms Russia's security. The number of liquidated Russian military is growing, and NATO has expanded.
