The Russian grouping on the right bank of the Dnieper may be encircled.
Russian propaganda media began to write en masse about a serious breakthrough by the Ukrainian armed forces near Davydiv Brid in the evening of September 13.
The Ukrainian side has not yet officially commented on the information. But the American Institute for War Studies (ISW) has published up-to-date battle maps in Ukraine, which show that the front near Davydiv Brid in Kherson region has indeed broken through and the Ukrainian army has launched an offensive to the east of Kherson.
"The Ukrainian Armed Forces have broken through Davydiv Brid. Russian State Guard units have taken up the fight and are battling superior enemy forces," Kremlin propagandists write in panic.
If we rely on ISW analysts, this means that the AFU has successfully forced the Inhulets River. For the Russian grouping, which is already in a firing "mousetrap" on the right bank of the Dnieper, such a scenario would be a disaster. Its eastern part would have been encircled after being cut.
