Ukrainian Army Seizes Two Bridgeheads Behind Oskil: Russian Forces Surrounded In Donbass

The Russian command has thrown its tactical group to the slaughter.

The Ukrainian military is in an advantageous position to further advance in the east: after forcing the Oskil River at several sites, the AFU has entrenched at least two bridgeheads. In addition, there are new liberated settlements in Donetsk Region - so far unofficially.

This was reported by Konstantin Mashovets, a military observer of the Information Resistance group, an AFU colonel and defence planning expert.

"From now on it is official: the AFU has crossed the Oskil River - at least 2 bridgeheads are reported. I don't think it's necessary to explain what exactly this means. By the way, Krymki, Yarova and Oleksandrivka have also been liberated," the analyst points out.

He also noted that the Russian command, having thrown a small tactical group of its units practically to the "slaughter" south of the Oskil Reservoir, unequivocally defined its desire to hold "under any circumstances" the line Yampol - Liman - Oleksandrivka - Rubtsy. However, it is already clear that the plan of the enemy commanders to consolidate the line of defence along the Oskil River failed.

It is worth reminding that on September 19 a message appeared on the net about the de-occupation of the village of Yarova: a photo was made public with the state flag flying on the cell tower.

For its part, the liberation of the villages of Oleksandrivka and Krymki in Kramatorsk district, Donetsk Region, has not yet been confirmed by photos or video footage. There have also been no official reports from the AFU General Staff. However, an MP and deputy of the VRU Committee on National Security, Defence and Intelligence, Yuriy Mysyagin, said in his channel on September 19 that these settlements had been liberated.

According to independent columnist Def Mon, if Oleksandrivka is indeed liberated, it is very likely that the village of Sosnove, located between Oleksandrivka, Yarova and Sviatohorsk, will also be de-occupied. This, in turn, would allow the AFU to attack Russian positions in Liman in two directions at once.

It should be noted that on the Deep State map, which was last updated after midnight on September 19, Yarova, Krymki, Sosnove and Oleksandrivka in Donetsk Region are marked in grey as territories whose exact status is not yet known.

Several settlements in Donetsk Region have been reported as likely to be liberated.

We remind you that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have also taken full control of the village of Bilohorivka, Luhansk Region. Ukrainian defenders have already mopped up the occupants.
