There were powerful explosions and smoke rising in Nova Kakhovka and Kazatske.
In the morning of September 7, another series of explosions occurred in temporarily occupied Nova Kakhovka in Kherson region. Eyewitnesses said that the explosions were, among other things, in the area of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant.
As a result, a huge column of black smoke rose. This was reported by a Kherson Telegram-channel.
According to preliminary data, the explosions occurred near the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant and directly above the hydroelectric power plant. A siren was heard in the occupied Nova Kakhovka during the explosions.
The network also notes that the Russian occupants attempted to shoot down the shells with their air defence system.
"There have been explosions and a siren howling in Nova Kakhovka since morning. On the horizon, one can see the successful work of the Ork air defence system," local channels write.
In addition, at the same time, explosions were recorded near the village of Kazatske, which is located on the right bank of Kherson region just behind the bridge of the Kakhovka hydropower plant.
According to local residents, there were three explosions in the settlement. As a result, columns of smoke also rose there.
"There are 3 arrivals near Kazatske - there is smoke over the Dnieper, over and near the hydropower plant too," the report says.
