Rivne Region Residents Warned About Possible Attack From Belarus

One of the “training” flights may become non-training.

Head of the Rivne regional military administration Vitaliy Koval warns that the air exercises in Belarus will affect the rhythm of life throughout Ukraine, and that one of these training flights may not be a training one.

He spoke about this on the air of the Espresso TV channel.

“We expect that these air exercises will affect the rhythm of life in the region and the country. With every takeoff of a strategic fighter and bomber, we are forced to have an air raid alert. Yesterday there were none. According to our information, these jets did not rise into the airspace. Yesterday was a calm day. Let's see how it goes. I urge the population not to be indifferent and not to ignore these alarms. One of these training flights may become non-training — you need to understand this,” Koval emphasized.

Earlier, Head of the Rivne regional military administration Vitaliy Koval stressed that the north of the region will turn into “bloody” swamps if Russia opens another front from Belarus.

On Monday, January 16, joint air tactical training of aviation units of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation, which are part of the regional grouping of troops, started near the Ukrainian border.
