"The Armed Forces of Ukraine arranged night "fireworks" for the enemy in the Kherson region on the first night after the New Year: they report a series of explosions near Oleshki, Radensk, Nova Kakhovka, etc. At the same time, no civilians were reported injured: only enemy ammunition depots in a 20-kilometre zone near the Dnipro coastline were targeted," «Stopkor» writes.
On the night of January 1-2, the Kherson Telegram channels informed about the loud "bangs" in the Oleshek region. The video of the powerful explosions in the area has also been published.
Almost at the same time, it became known about the hit on the enemy ammunition depot near the village of Radensk, the Oleshkovsky urban community. Massive detonations reported.
According to the Mykolaiv Vaniok channel cooperating with the South Defence Forces, they destroyed the ammunition depots near the village of Plodove, the Kakhovka district, in the Hola Pristan and in the forest not far from Oleshki, as part of the operation against the enemy facilities on the left bank of the Kherson region. At the same time, civilians were not injured.
It should be noted that these settlements are located 5-20 kilometres from the Dnipro river bank. The line of demarcation now passes there.
At the same time, the enemy continues to hit the coastal settlements in the Kherson region, striking at life support facilities and residential areas. According to the operational summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of the morning of January 2, in the Kherson axis, the civilian infrastructure of Tyahynka, Novotyahynka, Ponyativka, Daryivka, Sadove, Stanislav and Kherson suffered from enemy shelling.
Aviation of the Defence Forces over the previous day dealt 13 strikes on the areas where the occupiers were concentrated. The missile and artillery units, in turn, hit 5 areas of concentration of enemy manpower and military vehicles during the day.
