The Russians first hid in a private house, but then were hit by an APC.
A record of combat operations on a section of the front on the westernmost outskirts of Bakhmut in Donetsk Region has been published online: a few days later, this area was marked as controlled by the Russian army.
The information was made public on the Supernova+ War Against Russia Telegram channel.
The video shows an attempted advance by Russian army attack groups, strikes by Ukrainian artillery, and the operation of an M113 armoured personnel carrier which the Ukrainian armed forces received from their allies.
A reconnaissance drone spotted a unit of Russians between trees approaching a private compound. It looks like there are about half a dozen stormtroopers.

A few minutes later they make their way into the house where Bakhmut residents once lived. The building now has a broken roof and smashed windows.

Ukrainian artillery begins to "work" against the Russian base: the first shell fell 300 metres away from the building and another hit at close range - the explosion was quite bright.

The next footage shows the confrontation between the APC and the Russian assault rifles.
First, the video shows the APC moving slowly down the street.

Some of the Russian troopers apparently escaped and started shooting at the armoured vehicle.

The comments to the video state that the armoured personnel carrier is an M113 APC, which can protect against armour-piercing balls, is capable of carrying 11 troopers and moves at 64km/h.

The AFU received about 500 such armoured personnel carriers from the Netherlands, as well as from other allied countries.
The DeepState volunteer community has geolocated the video. The coordinates of the point where the events took place have been established - 48.6194, 38.0221.

If we mark this point on the map, it is clear that it is Sovkhoznaya Street on the extreme north-eastern outskirts of Bakhmut.

According to the online map of combat operations, the area in question was still in the grey zone on January 15. However, as of the 16th, it is already marked as being seized by the Russian army.
