Russian Missile Raid: Powerful Explosion Occurs In Kyiv

Black smoke is rising over one of the districts of the Ukrainian capital.

There was an explosion in Kyiv in the morning of January 26 during a large-scale air raid.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to eyewitnesses.

According to preliminary reports, the sound of the explosion was heard in various districts of the capital. Air defence forces are probably working over the city and the region.

Kyiv mayor Vitaliy Klitschko confirms information about the explosion in Kyiv. Authorities are urging citizens to stay inside shelters.

Local Telegram channels are reporting that black smoke is rising over one of the capital's districts after the explosion.

According to Klitschko, the explosions took place in Dniprovsky district of the capital. All services are on their way to the scene. Details will come later.
