Famous Tutor Yauhen Livyant’s Wife Also Detained

The wife of the famous tutor Yauhen Livyant was detained in Minsk. This was reported to Zerkalo by two unrelated sources.

On Tuesday, December 27, well-known tutor Yauhen Livyant was detained in Minsk. On Tuesday, January 3, the detention of the teacher's daughter and son-in-law was reported. After that, a reader wrote to the editorial office, claiming that Yauhen Livyant’s wife Yulia was also in custody.

This information was confirmed by a friend of Yauhen Livyant. According to him, the tutor, his wife, daughter and son-in-law were detained on the same day.

“Now they are at the Akrestsin Street detention center,” said an acquaintance of the teacher.

As far as the acquaintance knows, initially the teacher and members of his family were detained over an alleged administrative offence.

“But you understand that everything changes from hour to hour,” the interlocutor clarified.
