The morning on the peninsula began with a "marathon" of powerful explosions.
Loud explosions were heard by locals in the temporarily occupied city of Sevastopol in Crimea during the night of January 4.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Crimean Telegram channels.
It is noted that as early as Wednesday morning, a loud explosion occurred in Fruktovy district. According to the Emergency/Sevastopol public page, "it boomed so loud that the windows were shaking".
There were also reports of the sound of an explosion near Soldatsky.
Later, there were reports of explosions at the Belbek airfield in Crimea.
Then the "marathon" of the explosive morning was joined by Evpatoriya, as reported by the public pages, TSN informs.
According to reports on social media, the air defence was activated at least twice.
