Nova Makiivka: AFU Smashed Base With 1000 Russians In Havrilivka Second

Dozens of officers eliminated; hundreds of soldiers declared "missing".

The AFU again struck at the base of Russian occupants. The target this time was the invaders' location in the village of Havrilivka II, Kherson Oblast. Up to 1,000 Russian military personnel were there.

This was reported by Ukrainian military journalist Andriy Tsaplienko and the Telegram channel Mykolaiv Vanek, as well as a number of Ukrainian media outlets.

The attack was compared to the strike on the 19th PTU in Makiivka, where the AFU also destroyed hundreds of occupants.

"An analogue of the Makiivka graduation has occurred today in Kherson Oblast. Today some could wake up in Kalanchatsky district at 5 am from strong explosions. Windows and doors opened in some villages, far away from the place of the strike. And all because there were strikes at the location of Russians in Havrilivka II - 46.181359, 33.473553", the message reads.

It is noted that it all started with the fact that Russia began to move its defense forces there right on New Year's Day.

"The 404th motorized rifle regiment (such an analogue of our territorial defence unit. In fact, it's a hodgepodge). They all moved to the dormitory of the Tavrida plant, up to 1,000 men. They left Grads on the territory and were about to move closer to the front line. However, something went wrong. Today, they had to clear the rubble from 6 a.m. until about 4 p.m.," the report says.

"Heavy explosions could wake up some people in the Kalanchak area at 5 a.m. The AFU struck the occupants' base in Havrilivka, Kalanchak district, Kherson Oblast - dozens are reported dead, including officers," Tsaplienko wrote.

It is also reported that at least 100 wounded Russian soldiers were taken to a hospital in another settlement. They were loaded into three KAMAZs. It is also noted that at least 20 officers have been killed. All other Russian military personnel are still missing. The area is currently cordoned off.

"The building itself is seriously damaged. There is no roof or walls (in some places). They have left the settlement, leaving only those who cover the cordoned-off area, since they will most likely be removing rubble again tomorrow or tonight. They do not want this information to be spread (as it was with Makiivka. The defeat was serious. There is also a famous Russian air defense system in that square, which obviously did not save several hundred (?) soldiers from death", Ukrainian media reports say.

In addition, there is information that the bodies of occupants will be burned.

"You will learn where they will burn from next posts. Hail to the AFU!", the authors of telegram channels sum up.

Charter97.org reported that on the night of January 1, there was a strike on a college in occupied Makiivka, Donetsk Oblast. Russian occupants stationed there. It was reported that HIMARS struck it.

Later it became known that the building of the local educational institution No. 19 was completely destroyed. As a result of the strike, 400 occupants were killed and 300 were wounded.
