Polish Language Courses In Minsk Being Inspected

The reason for the raid is said to be violations of the Advertising Law.

Inspectors from the Ministry of Education began to raid Polish language courses. So far, it is known that such checks are taking place in Minsk, Euroradio reports.

The reason for the raid is said to be violations of the Advertising Law.

According to the requirements of paragraph 2 of Article 20 of this law, advertising about studies outside of Belarus is allowed only if the advertiser has the approval of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus. At the same time, a number of Polish courses advertise their assistance in entering foreign universities.

Journalists do not yet know whether checks are carried out outside Minsk.
