Such classes will begin in universities from September 1 next year. Now the authorities are determining the program and the number of hours. Head of the military transport department of the Belarusian State University of Transport Aliaksei Paddubny stated this on the Homel TV channel, Nasha Niva noted.

According to him, not all Belarusians undergo military service, since our army is compact. That's why students need military training.

During the course, students will learn elementary military skills, including basic firearms training. They will be trained in tactical medicine, handling chemicals and minefields.
