German Foreign Minister: European Union Will Expand From Lisbon To Luhansk

The future of Ukraine is in the EU.

German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock said that the European Union will soon expand from Lisbon to Lugansk.

She said this during her visit to Kyiv to participate in the EU Council of Ministers, writes European Pravda.

“The future of Ukraine is in the European Union, in our community of freedom, and it will soon expand from Lisbon to Luhansk. With every village, with every meter that Ukraine liberates, with every meter where it saves its people, it also expands its path to the EU,” she said.

The German Foreign Minister stressed that European friends and partners will support Ukraine on this path.

She added that Kyiv is capable of carrying out impressive reforms against the backdrop of terrible Russian aggression.

“These are things such as changing legislation in the field of justice, in the field of media, but also related to the fight against corruption, and we openly talk about this with our partners here in Ukraine, that together we can expand this path,” Baerbock concluded.
