Russian Aviation Remnants Flee Berdyansk After ATACMS Strike

New satellite images have been published.

After the attack of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Russian airfield in temporarily occupied Berdyansk, the occupiers decided to protect their aviation, which had so far managed to “survive.” For this purpose, they moved some of the helicopters from there.

This is evidenced by new satellite images. The photo was published by OSINT analyst Brady Africk.

The pictures were taken on October 19. They show that the Russian occupiers removed some of their equipment after attacking Ukraine with ATACMS missiles.

“New satellite images of the Russian-occupied airport in Berdyansk show that the Russians have removed several helicopters from the site following the recent Ukrainian strike,” Afrik noted.

On the night of October 17, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the occupiers’ helicopters and equipment at airfields near Luhansk and Berdyansk. There, the invaders accumulated aviation, which they used to attack Ukrainian soldiers on the front line.

Subsequently, the Joint Operations Forces revealed the details of the strikes: according to Ukrainian warriors, the enemy had minus 9 helicopters, an ammunition depot, an air defense system, as well as losses of personnel killed and wounded.

It later became known that the extremely effective strikes were carried out using American ATACMS missiles, the supply of which was not officially reported. However, on the evening of October 17, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed Ukraine’s use of long-range missiles from the United States.
