Former Police Officer Arrested For His Subscriptions

He was arrested for the fourth time in a row.

The security guard of the Build store, former police officer Siarhei Vaukovich, was brought to court in the Belarusian city of Orsha once again. He was arrested for the fourth time in a row, according to the Vitebsk Info Telegram channel.

The security services came to capture Siarhei for the first time on October 3. He was arrested at his workplace with five charges for subscribing to “extremist” resources. The next day, the court found him guilty and sentenced him to 7 days of arrest. Then he was arrested again, first for 10 days, then for another 5 days.

The fourth trial against Siarhei took place on October 12. For subscribing to “extremist” resources, he was sentenced to another 15 days of arrest.

In total, Sergei served 37 days behind bars.
