Shooting is heard in the city.
Explosions were heard in Sevastopol, Crimea, temporarily occupied by Russian troops on Tuesday morning, October 24. The city's occupation administration said the Black Sea Fleet was allegedly repelling a "possible underwater attack".
The explosions were reported by local channels on Telegram. They were heard around 4am. Residents wrote in local chats that gunfire was also heard.
"They are shooting!", "Right now, very loudly and with a burst..." people wrote in the network.

At the same time, the so-called "governor" of Sevastopol, who was illegally appointed by the Kremlin, Mikhail Razvozhayev said about a "possible" underwater attack. The occupiers' representative did not specify what exactly this means.
"Loud sounds - this is on the outer roadstead - the Black Sea Fleet is repelling a possible attack by underwater sabotage forces and means of the enemy," he wrote.
The Crimean Wind channel reported loud explosions at 3:35 and 3:40 in Sevastopol, as well as the sounds of gunfire. According to the resource, the Russian air defence allegedly tried to shoot down a drone.
