Caterpillar, Turret Blown Off: Spectacular Explosion Of Russian Tank In Donetsk Region

The T-72B3 was blown to pieces.

The Ukrainian Defence Forces have filmed the spectacular destruction of a Russian army tank that invaded the territory of Donetsk region.

The T-72B3 - the most common in the army of the aggressor country - was eliminated.

Due to a powerful explosion, the caterpillar and turret flew off the hull of the tank. The corresponding video was shared by Ukrainian journalist Yuriy Butusov on his Telegram channel on October 25. He did not specify when and where exactly the footage was recorded.

"Epic detonation... As a result of a fierce explosion, the caterpillar and turret flew off the armoured vehicle, and later the turret fell on the hull and triggered another explosion," Butusov commented.

The video was captured by the camera of a Ukrainian UAV that was monitoring the situation on the battlefield. The recording shows that from the large-scale explosion everything around became fiery red.

The T-72B3 turret, which was thrown high up by the detonation force, is clearly visible in the footage.

There are no details about the fate of the Russian crew of the T-72B3.
