Israeli Tank Forces Conduct Raid In Gaza Strip

The IDF prepared the area for a new phase of fighting.

On the night of October 26, IDF engineering and armoured units entered the northern part of the Gaza Strip.

This was reported by newsru.co.il with reference to the press service of the Israel Defence Forces.

The army press service reported that overnight IDF forces under the command of the Givati Brigade entered the northern Gaza Strip with tanks as part of preparing the area for the next phases of the fighting.

The IDF Press Service reports that terrorist groups in Gaza were attacked during the night, terror infrastructure and anti-tank positions were destroyed, and "work was carried out to arrange the area."

"At the end of the mission, the troops left the area," the IDF states.
