Arrests At Makhachkala Airport Airfield

Rosaviatsia reports that the airport has been cleared of protesters.

Law enforcement officers have started arresting protesters in Makhachkala, wrote Echo of Dagestan.

The Telegram channel published a video taken by a passenger on one of the planes at the airport. It shows several rioters lying on the tarmac near the Red Wings plane, which had arrived from Tel Aviv, while police officers walk around them.

Rosaviatsia officially reported that as of 20:20 Minsk time

had been 'cleared of unauthorised intruders'. It did not say whether anyone had been detained inside the airport building.

Rosaviatsia also reported that the airport would be closed until 3am on 6 November.
