AFU Colonel: Russia Preparing Its Fleet For Evacuation

It is too unsafe in Crimea.

Military expert, colonel of the reserve of the AFU, flight instructor Roman Svitan said in the daily review of hostilities on Channel 24 that the Russians can relocate the fleet from Sevastopol. More explosions have been heard in Crimea.

Svitan noted that on the night of October 28-29, 36 UAVs were heading to Crimea. If the Russians shot them down as they did over the Kursk nuclear power plant, then they accomplished their task. Explosions were heard near Yevpatoria. The occupiers' SAM systems are located there.

"That is, the struggle for supremacy in the airspace continues. After such drone attacks, we can expect missile strikes on military facilities in Crimea. In particular, on ships, so Russia is really considering the option of relocating them to Novorossiysk and the occupied part of Georgia," Svitan said.

The pilot-instructor noted that Russia cannot take its planes out of Crimea, because then it would lose Zaporizhzhia and Kherson region. That is why MiG-31K aircraft were relocated there. Unfortunately, so far Ukraine has no missiles that would reach Belbek, except for the Neptunes.

"Strikes on this airfield require ATACMS at 300 kilometres, Storm Shadow, SCALP. However, for these missiles to pass through, the air defence system covering such facilities must be destroyed. Our special services are working on these tasks," said Svitan.

According to the AFU reserve colonel, any oil refinery, especially near the front, is an absolutely legal military target. This facility supplies the occupiers with fuel. Without fuel, the army dries up and cannot carry out tasks.

"It seems that drones with an operating radius of 500 kilometres attacked this plant. Obviously, this is the work of the MID, because it has such "beavers" capable of travelling such distances. The methodical destruction of the occupiers and on their territory is gradually continuing," Svitan concluded.
