Russian FSB Officers Flee Tokmak

The occupiers may be preparing a provocation.

FSB officers have begun to leave Tokmak in the Zaporizhzhia region, which has been temporarily occupied by Russian troops. They have also been banned from going to work for the next few days.

This was announced by the head of the city's military administration, Alexander Chub, Radio Svoboda reports. He suggested that the occupiers might be preparing a provocation in the city.

According to the head of the city military administration, employees of educational institutions, administrative bodies and public utilities have been ordered not to go to work.

At the same time, the Russians did not explain the reasons for such a decision to the residents. The Russian FSB officers themselves, according to Chub, allegedly intend to return to Tokmak at the end of the week or as early as Monday - 9 October.

"Maybe there will be a provocation. I know for sure that some FSB officers have left Tokmak, but they say they will return by the end of the week," the official said.

Ivan Fedorov, the legitimate mayor of occupied Melitopol in Zaporizhzhia, earlier noted that the Russians in Tokmak are panicking. The occupiers are pouring concrete into the trenches and building new defence lines. And a few weeks ago the occupiers began to remove from Tokmak "authorities", educational institutions.

"Last night they announced that today will not work "administrative institutions", shops, market. Whatever they are preparing, but the enemy is definitely not good", he wrote.
