The dog had previously bitten 11 Secret Service agents.
The President of the United States' German shepherd dog, nicknamed Commando, has been evicted from the White House, Fox News reported, citing Elizabeth Alexander - director of public relations for First Lady Jill Biden. He had previously bitten 11 Secret Service agents.
"The president and first lady care deeply about the safety of those who work in the White House and those who protect them every day," Elizabeth Alexander said.
"They remain grateful for the patience and support of the U.S. Secret Service and all parties involved as they continue to work toward solutions," she added. - Commando is currently out of the White House while the next steps are being evaluated.
The dog recently bit another Secret Service agent. And it was the 11th such incident since October 2022.
This is not Biden's first vicious dog. His predecessor, Major, also a German shepherd, was kicked out of the White House in 2021 for aggressive behaviour alone: the three-year-old dog also harassed Secret Service employees and bit several people. The shepherd was first sent for retraining and then released to friends of the presidential family, according to US media.
