Explosions In Kharkiv: Russia Strikes Centre Of City

In the morning on Friday, October 6, there were explosions in Kharkiv. The mayor of the city Igor Terekhov reported about the "fly-in" in the central part of Kharkiv.

The explosions were heard at around 6:46, immediately after which an air alert was declared in the region, Ukrainian media reported.

"Residents of Kharkiv and the region, stay in shelters!" the head of the Kharkiv RMA, Oleg Sinegubov, wrote on Telegram.

Mayor Igor Terekhov reported that the strike hit the central part of the city.

"Kharkiv is under shelling. There is information about a strike on the central part of the city," he wrote on Telegram.

Later Sinegubov clarified that, according to preliminary data, there is information about a strike in Kyiv and Osnovyansky districts of Kharkiv.

"Three people were injured, the condition is mild. Emergency services are working on the ground, there is damage to cars and buildings. The information is clarified," he noted.

We remind, on October 5, the Russian occupiers hit the village of Groza in Kharkiv region with the Iskander missile. The attack was directed at a shop and a cafe, where the wake for the dead military man was held. As a result of the attack, according to the latest data, 51 people were killed.
