Belarusian Army Adopted Polonez-M MRLS

What is known about this weapon?

The rocket artillery brigade of the Armed Forces of Belarus adopted the Polonez-M "Polonez Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS), an improved version of the Polonez MLRS already in service.

“The main tactical and technical characteristics of the Polonez-M MLRS have been improved compared to the previous modifications and make it possible to simultaneously strike eight targets with the highest accuracy at a range of up to 300 km. These could be command posts, munition depots, groups of weapons and manpower,” Belarusian MoD said.

They called the adoption of new types of weapons the “deterrence measure”.
