Political Analyst: Real Panic In The Kremlin

The outcome of the Biden-Xi meeting has shocked Moscow.

The meeting between US President Joe Biden and Chinese leader Xi Jinping showed that Beijing is moving away from close cooperation with Moscow. This is the opinion of political analyst Valeriy Klochok.

Speaking on Channel 24, the expert noted that Russia has become a serious market for China - trade relations between the two countries have only intensified in recent years. According to Klochok, as a result of the meeting between the leaders of the United States and China, the idea of creating a bipolar world, which Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has been dreaming of for years, has come true. It is true that he saw himself as Biden's opponent. In reality, it turned out that the US was at one pole of this bipolar world, with China at the other, and Putin just had to watch.

"At the same time, the Russians have kept mum. I haven't seen a single comment from Russia. There is real panic in the Kremlin," the political expert noted.

He also recalled that the US and China have agreed to increase the number of flights between the two countries for cultural, sporting and social exchanges. This indicates a deepening of cooperation on the social and tourist levels as well.

"These things are not being said casually. Perhaps this is a big preparation for the creation of an intergovernmental cooperation agreement. I am not saying that China and the United States will become friends in the long run.

But at this stage, pragmatism is winning," Klochok added. In addition, there is information that Biden urged Xi Jinping not to help Russia. In a nutshell, Klochok said, Putin is watching, but there is nothing he can do about it.
