Propaganda tried to pass it off as “Ukrainian.”
The Russian military boasted on social media about the destruction of supposedly “Ukrainian armored vehicles,” which turned out to be their own MT-LB.
Pro-Kremlin Telegram channels published a video from a Ka-52M Alligator helicopter hitting a motorboat standing near the landing with a missile.
However, thanks to geolocation, OSINT specialists quickly established that the released footage was in fact Russian equipment, which was destroyed by soldiers of the 79th separate air assault brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Novomykhailivka area back in October.

Similar mistakes, which Kremlin propaganda passes off as “military achievements,” happen to Russian helicopter pilots regularly.
Thus, in June, the crew of a Russian Alligator confused ordinary agricultural equipment with Ukrainian Leopard 2 tanks, after which the Russians also boasted about their destruction, which is why they were ridiculed even by the so-called “z-milbloggers.”
