Belarusian National Team Wins At European Championship Qualification Finish Line

Belarusian players defeated Kosovo.

The Belarusian national team played the final match in the selection for the European Championship 2024. Belarusians played against the national team of Kosovo and won with a score of 1:0.

In the first half of the meeting, the Belarusians had to defend and look for a chance in counterattacks. One of them resulted in a goal - on the 43rd minute, Dzmitry Antsileuski hit the hosts' goal with a long-range shot. After the break, the game continued in the same vein, but the ball did not hit the target.

The final table in our qualifying group after 10 games looks like this:

1. ROMANIA - 22 points. 2. SWISS - 17. 3. Israel - 15. 4. Belarus - 12. 5. Kosovo - 11. 6. Andorra - 2.

Thus, the national team of Belarus finally takes the fourth place in Group I, having beaten Kosovo.

The results of other matches of the Belarusian team in this qualifying cycle: Belarus - Andorra - 0:0 and 1:0, Belarus - Switzerland - 0:5 and 3:3, Belarus - Romania - 1:2 and 0:0, Belarus - Israel - 0:1 and 1:2.

21 of the 24 participants of the final tournament of the continental championship are already known: Albania, Albania, Austria, England, Belgium, Hungary, Germany (host), Denmark, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, Czech Republic, Croatia, France, Scotland.

Three more vouchers to Germany will be played out in the knockout rounds by the national teams of Georgia, Ukraine, Poland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, Iceland, Kazakhstan, Luxembourg, Finland, Estonia.

The draw for the knockout rounds will take place in Nyon, Switzerland, on November 23, and the matches themselves will take place on March 21 and 26, 2024.

The final tournament of the 17th European Championship will be held from June 14 to July 14 at the football arenas of ten German cities.
