'Bright Glow In Sky, Whistling, As If Ultrasound': New Details Of Explosions Near Moscow

Five substations were disabled.

Explosions were heard at night in the village of Molokovo in the Lenin Urban District of Lytkarino, Moscow Region, Russia. Several settlements were left without light, water and communications. According to preliminary information, the cause of the incident was a "short circuit at a local electrical substation."

According to the Shot Telegram channel, at about 01:00 Moscow time, an eyewitness saw "a bright glow in the sky above Lytkarino near Moscow and heard whistling, buzzing and as if ultrasound" from the electrical substation. Explosions were heard.

Several settlements were left without water, light and communications. According to preliminary information, five substations are without voltage. Specialists are repairing the damage.
