Chagino Electric Substation Burning In Moscow

A fire broke out on the territory of Moscow electric substation No 510 "Chagino" tonight, November 24.

This is reported by Russian Telegram channels.

The power substation is located in the South-Eastern district of Moscow Lyublino on 2 Chaginskaya Street.

According to Russian media, the fire centre is in the transformer building. The area of the fire is about 200 squares.

"A transformer and about 120 litres of fuel are burning at the Chagino substation in Moscow. Dense smoke is spreading around the neighbourhood," stated the message.

The video of the fire at the electric substation "Chagino" also appeared on the network.

We remind you that the substation № 510 "Chagino" is notorious since 2005, when the fire caused a large-scale man-made disaster - about 2 million people in Moscow, Tula, Ryazan and Kaluga regions were left without light for several hours, public transport was stopped, the work of many enterprises, including the Moscow oil refinery.
