The Ukrainian army “Pivden” revealed the details of the operation.

Speaker of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army “South” Serhiy Bratchuk spoke about the achievements of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the left bank of the Dnipro River. According to him, the events unfolding on the left bank of the Kherson region are the result of long-term and systematic work of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He announced this on Channel 24.

“I think that the idea for this military operation appeared after the liberation of Kherson. We all understand perfectly well that without appropriate actions on the left bank of the Dnieper, there can be no talk of liberating the temporarily occupied part of Ukraine,” said Bratchuk.

As Serhiy Bratchuk noted, the Ukrainian military now holds several bridgeheads on the left bank of the Kherson region. According to him, the battles on the Left Bank are a new page in the history of modern military art.

“There is great respect and honor for our Marines here, because I don’t remember any cases since World War II when such a water barrier as the Dnipro was overcome by enemies under fire,” Bratchuk said.

The Ukrainian military has successfully captured and held key bridgeheads. Our defenders are actively conducting operations to destroy enemy personnel and military equipment. The number of wounded among the occupiers exceeds two thousand, and the number of dead is more than one and a half thousand. We also managed to eliminate more than a hundred pieces of enemy equipment.

“Of course, the situation is very difficult. It is necessary to observe the information silence mode as much as possible,” added the speaker of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army “Pivden”.

He reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces managed to cut the Oleshky-Nova Kakhovka road, which will lead to a limitation in the logistics capabilities of Russian troops. Now the enemy is trying to reduce the area and effectiveness of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ bridgeheads on the left bank of the Kherson region.
