Earlier, marines of the 810th brigade of the Russian Federation refused to go to the attack.

Russian military personnel are leaving their combat positions en masse, refusing to continue fighting. Documents from the Dnepr group confirm this and reveal the circumstances of these brave acts. And it is to "fill these holes" that the Russian Ministry of Defence is using former Storm Z prisoners, who are threatened with execution for such actions.

The morale and fighting ability of the Russian units on the left bank of the Kherson region continues to deteriorate.

The occupiers are increasingly refusing to carry out attacks. This was pointed out by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).

The day before, the AFU General Staff reported that units of the 810th Marine Brigade of the Russian Black Sea Fleet operating near the village of Krynki (30 kilometres north-east of Kherson and 2 kilometres from the Dnipro River) were refusing to carry out attacks on Ukrainian positions due to a lack of artillery coordination, tactical intelligence transfer and proper information on the location of their own minefields.

Russian minefield maps are known to be classified and the Russian Armed Forces Command has not properly coordinated the location of mined terrain with assaulting units, resulting in 50 casualties among units of the 810th Brigade over the past month.

According to the ISW, units of this Russian naval brigade arrived in the Krynki area in early October 2023. They apparently took over responsibility for the immediate area around the settlement from units of the newly formed 18th All-Russian Army after the start of Ukrainian ground operations on the left bank of the Dnieper.

The Ukrainian General Staff announced that the 28th Motorised Rifle Regiment of the 18th Army was now operating in Peschanivka (14km east of Kherson and 3km from the river). Its additional units and elements of the 7th Airborne Division of the Russian Army took up positions in the near rear areas on the left bank. The combined command of these Russian Army formations is likely to control much of the current response to Ukrainian ground operations in the Kherson region.

"The minefield incident suggests that the 18th Army command has not shared relevant tactical details with the 810th Brigade command. It is likely that the higher Russian command responsible for the 'defence' of the left bank has not yet corrected this lack of coordination," the ISW said.
