ISW: AFU Advance On Left Bank Of Kherson Region

New positions on Big Potemkin Island captured.

Ukrainian forces are holding positions on the left bank of the Kherson region, while near Krynki they are fighting the enemy, says a new ISW report.

It is noted that on 10 December Ukrainian forces continued ground operations on the eastern (left) bank of the Kherson region.

According to the Ukrainian General Staff, the defence forces are holding positions on the eastern bank of the Dnipro River and attacking Russian positions in the area.

Russian military propagandists claim that fighting is continuing near the village of Krynki (30km north-east of Kherson), noting the continued high pace of Ukrainian operations in the area.

A Russian propagandist claimed that Ukrainian troops had taken new positions on Bolshoi Potemkin Island (south-west of Kherson).

In addition, the Russian Ministry of Defence released footage purporting to show unspecified airborne units conducting aerial reconnaissance of Ukrainian positions on the western (right) bank of the Dnipro River.
